Leah M. Killian-Smith, BA, NHA, HSE, RHIA, CIMT

Director of Quality & Government Services, Pathway Health, Inc.

As a Director at Pathway Health, Leah has responsibility for supporting corporate accounts, developing new relationships with clients, education and training, and helping to lead the regulatory compliance initiatives of the clients we serve.  As Director of Corporate Accounts her primary responsibilities include providing excellent customer service and support for Pathway’s ongoing account relationships.  Other areas of responsibility include acquisition management projects, health department engagements, state and national association speaking, and also Health Information Management support of current and future changes with QAPI, compliance, HIPAA, and coding.  Leah brings twenty years of health care operations and management experience to Pathway Health.  Prior to Pathway Health Leah was responsible for operations at several long term care communities and also lead over a dozen successful nursing home closures. Ms. Killian-Smith is a credentialed Registered Health Information Administrator, Nursing Home Administrator, certified Class F Home Health Manager, experienced trainer, coach and mentor. She is skilled in assisting and leading start-up programs for long term care, transitional care, memory care, assisted living, and affordable housing
