Is Your Documentation PDPM-Ready? (LIVE WEBINAR DATE) -- January 16, 2020

  • Registration Closed

PDPM is here! While Medicare reimbursement changed October 1, 2019 from RUG-IV to PDPM, the fundamental requirements for daily skilled SNF care have NOT changed.  Do you know if your facility’s documentation meets Medicare’s requirements? Use new reality of PDPM to take a fresh look at your daily documentation, with an emphasis on capturing commodities that may have been overlooked under RUG-IV.  This presentation will cover CMS’ requirements for skilled level of care, with discussion and examples of how to document appropriately and where to find the information you need in the resident’s record.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Outline the requirements for daily skilled level of care under Medicare Part A
  2. Apply skilled documentation to Medicare reimbursement with a focus on daily nurses’ notes
  3. Demonstrate effective strategies to improve the capture of skilled services in daily documentation
