The Lessons Learned in MDS Coding Accuracy the First Year under PDPM: Audit Trends (LIVE WEBINAR) -- May 18, 2021

This session will provide an overview of audit finding trends experienced by skilled nursing providers within the first year under the PDPM payment model. During the presentation, attendees will examine the common trends and root cause when non-compliance was identified. The presenters have been conducting facility audits and assisting facilities in identifying the “next steps” to ensure compliant MDS submissions while noting missed opportunities to for more complex care delivered. The presenters will review compliant use of the DR Modifier and Blanket Waiver under COVID-19, as well as discuss documentation requirements to support its’ use.
